Notes SB 131: Prohibits use of single-use checkout bags except in cases of voucher users, for items marked with protected health or other confidential information, and for fresh meat or seafood packed in ice. D 1048: Prohibits use of single-use checkout bags except certain cases. Prohibits local governments from imposing charges on checkout bags or other bags provided to customers. Repeals statute requiring retail establishments that offer plastic bags to customers to also offer paper bags.

Stores Affected Retail establishment is any store or vendor located within or doing business within the geographical limits of the city that sells or offers for sale goods at retail.
