PRINTING INFORMATION

PRINT AREA. Maximum imprint areas are listed next to each product. In larger quantities, print areas can exceed these dimensions. Call the UF Line for more information.
PRINTING LIMITATIONS. Paper Bags and Boxes shown in this catalog are primarily post printed and hot stamped at the UF Line. Certain limitations apply to post printing processes:

on 2 color imprints, no tight registration
avoid borders
avoid heavy ink coverage combined with fine lines
modest ink coverage is preferred with Crystal-Cote Bags
avoid fine halftones, fine lines or large reverse art
avoid printing fine lines over the folds of shopping bags

OVERRUNS / UNDERRUNS. All post printed and hot stamped paper bags and boxes are subject to a 10% overrun/underrun allowance. All invoices will be rendered for actual (total) quantity shipped. Mill runs may have higher overrun allowances. Contact the UF Line for specific information.

PLATE CHARGES

Hot stamping and printing plate charges are listed next to each product and size. For plate charges on mill runs, contact the UF Line for prices.

ART REQUIREMENTS

Artwork should be supplied camera ready, to size and color separated. Film negatives or high quality photostats (no photocopies) are preferred. Screens and halftones must be in 45 or 55 line screen, and must first be pre-approved by the UF Line for post printing. For multi color mill runs, please contact the UF Line for preferred art formats.

PROOFS

Fax proofs available upon request at no charge. Production proof: $150(V) plus cost of plates.

Standard bag colors are listed on each page of the catalog. Additional colors may be available.

NOTE: On colored bags: Medium and Dark shades of colored bags should be hot stamped only.
